![]() ![]() When was the last time you used a physical alarm clock to wake you up in the morning? What about carrying around a diary to write your appointments in? Or simply picking up a newspaper to find out the daily news? All of these have been replaced by a digital alternative. Many of us have become so reliant on our phones – I know I certainly have. However, I find it so important that as well as knowing the positive uses of technology, to also be cautious of the other affects it can have on our lives. Many of my creative hobbies and occupations have been dependant upon computers, cameras, and phones. Technology has played a huge part in my life. But little did they know back then that we would grow to become Gen Y – the generation born in the 1980s and 1990s who are typically perceived as being increasingly familiar with digital and electronic technology. Ever since I can remember, technology has been a significant part of my life.įrom a young age I can recall being sat on my mother’s lap whilst working on her desktop computer, as my tiny bones took in everything. ![]()
